I am Theo Theune, my profession is family doctor and I like to travel. With my wife I visited some countries outside Europe. My hobby is to photograph and I take a lot of pictures when we are traveling . Another hobby of me is the computer. That's how I got the idea to make this homepage.
Technical information
I use color slide film because the quality is still better than negatives. This time I used Fuji Sensia 100 and 200 ISO. I have a Minolta 700 SI with a vertical grip and 2 lenses: 28-85mm and 75-300mm. A polarisation filter is a must in this country. Sometime you can see that the edges are a little bit darker that's because my polarisation filter is to thick.
I took more than 400 color slides; I selected 100 of them and put those on a PhotoCD. The scans are of a good quality and I can modify the pictures on the computer.
I use Photoshop 4.01 Dutch version. My Epson printer make prints with fair quality.
Unfortunately, the quality of the pictures on this home page is not very good. I had to choose: a lot of pictures of moderate quality or only a few of good quality. I chose the first to make the travel story more complete.
My motherlanguage is Dutch and not English. Therefore I want to make my excuse for my bad English.
