Last IJspegel cancelled; Triple P 1st mumm30 overall

26-03-2006, Scheveningen (Ko Stroo)

The last IJspegel was cancelled due to dense fog. Because our boat was, and still is, ashore for maintenance we weren't present to compete. But due to the cancellation we didn't miss a lot of sailing.

In the general ranking of the IJspegel winter competition we are 10th overall. We are placed as first mumm30, one place ahead of the other mumm30, vanUden TUDelft. Since we missed about half of the IJspegel races, because we have sailed the French open and the Primo Cup, we are quite pleased with the overall result.

The maintenance is proceeding as scheduled. After the re-shaping of the keel last week the boat is now on it's way to Wadinxveen. Here the boat will be repainted (in green again). The boat will be ready just in time to be transported to Trinité for the Spi Ouest regatta.
