After a weekend of rest, this Saturday we
set sail again to train at the North Sea. The temperature was just above
zero, the wind a strong twenty knots plus against the current. The other
Dutch team; vanUden TU Delft was also at Scheveningen harbor to go for
some practice rounds. They left a little earlier but returned little
later with a smile on there faces and a torn jib. Having no fear we went
out with only tree members of the regular team and five stand-ins. After
some upwind practice, downwind runs with full spinnaker and being really
frozen we returned satisfied. Ready to start the next morning at the
IJspegel matches.
