Loftaddition 2007/2008

Also in the run up to those seasons the search for reinforcement of the breeding loft went on:

Again several youngsters directly fro m Cor de Heijde, Made came to Wissenkerke. Most of them (grand)children of the “Perpignan”, “Diamantje”, “Perpignanduivin”, “St. Vincentduifje”or “Mooi Grijs”. All those pigeons related to the succesfull line “Klamper”, the golden basis of the master from Made, whose pigeons are so sought-after and raise huge amounts when being sold at auctions.

In Wissenkerke the majority of the breeding loft consists of direct descendants originating from all the famous De Heijde-pigeons.

	From Jan Theelen another couple of youngsters were welcomed, which most likely will be used for crossbredding. The origin of those pigeons are lines of “Mabel”, “Vooruitvlieger” and “Blauw Kuypers”.
	In the meantime also three widowhood cocks retired and joined the breeding pigeons, that is the legendary “Monty II” (several top-ten results on the 1000 km. Nationals) , the “Goede 24” (8 victories on the middle distance) and “de ’20) (several victories of the middle distance and 51 prices in 4 seasons, 100% Ad Schaerlaeckens)
	Also for 2008 is has been agreed with Ad Schaerlaeckens to buy some youngsters, to rejuvenate the Schaerlaeckens-basis.

Of course also some young pigeons came not destined for the breeding loft, but just to race with, hopefully resulting in some fine cocks for future seasons:

	Frans Janssens, Kapelle, donated ten eggs. The yearlings from those eggs will be trained in 2008 for the long distance races. Frans provided from the lines of “Rode Asduif 858”, “Nachtvlieger” and the “Rode St. Vincenter”. With those he scored a lot of superb prices in the last few years and confirmed his position among the champions of long distance racing.
	P.W.A. (Walter) van der Meulen brought 4 youngters in exchange for a hen from the “Monty”-lines. He also is a great champion in long distance racing with a.o a victory on the national race from Dax and a regional victory from Bordeaux.
	On a charity auction René bought some bons of Gebr. Dingemanse, Arnemuiden and got something from the lines of “Gevaarlijke” (14th nat. Pau and 10th nat. Marseille) and “Zwarte Moordenaar” (28e nat. Perpignan and 2nd reg. Bordeaux)

As René has the intention to restart the participation of the short distance races he also needs future cracks for this purpose too:

	Comb. De Kooning & VanGarsel-Vermeulen, Lewedorp provided youngsters from the origin Vandenabeele, Marcelis and Johan de Belser, which were already successfully raced in 2007.
	The best fancier on short distance in Zeeland ’96 D. Wagenaar, Kloetinge supplied ten youngsters, of which two already won a race in the club.
	In 2008 some young pigeons will be raced originating from the loft Björn Rombouts, Westmalle (Belgium) a class of his own at races from Quievrain and Noyon. Besides that the top players Jan & Frank Debeuckelaer, Minderhoud (stars on the middle distance and long time champions) will supply something from their Marcelis-stock.
	Most likely Frans Zwols, Grambergen will be visited to cash some vouchers bought at auctions during winter time.
	Contact has been made with comb. Braad-De Joode, Woudrichem to buy some eggs.

Loftaddition 2004

In 2004 there came 10 grandchildren "wittenbuik" Vandenabeele via Ruitenberg, Zwolle and several grandchildren out of the "Klamperlijn" from Cor de Heijde.

René’s results of 2003 have been added and the site has been improved further.

René has again improved the quality of his loft with fresh bloodlines from the well-known Ad Schaerlaekens; he managed to obtain young bird from several breeding couples, such as:

	the "Wounded Knee"
	"Daughter Sissy"
	"295 van '95"
	And from the best widowhoodcocks from the loft Heeren-Schaerlaeckens in St.Willebrord.

We now might can call René’s loft the Zeeland branch of Ad Schaerlaeckens as there are now appr. 25 purebreads living in the lofts at the outskirts of Wissenkerke.
