On our way to the coast we passed some "special
rocks". One of them are the Organpipes. These are
distinctive series of dolerite pillars. They have been exposed by
erosion. The height is about 4 meter and the site stretch out for
100 meter. They are not as big as they look like on the picture.
Another "special rock" is Burned Mountain". If you have ever seen a black mountain, now that is it. Not worth to take a picture of. You can give every rock a name.
"The colors are beautiful at sunset and sunrise". We arrived at 10 o'clock so we didn't see that colors. Our advice: don't make extra km to see the Burned Mountain. By time you get there the light is so hard that there are no colors and shadows at all.
