TVR Grantura Mk11, Chassis number 7/B/198 Registration number, 9191 WY. Below is some of the ownership history of this car starting in 1974. Bernard Judd of Crawley acquired the car in April 74, at which point it had changed from its original White to Burgundy and had a 1500cc engine. He sold it to Roger Pett of Crawley who changed the colour to green and added a 1600 cc engine. He kept it until 1977. Roger Pett sold it to Kevin Ashley of Crowthorne who changed the colour to Yellow and kept it until 1978. Kevin Ashley then sold it to Paul Munton who at some point in the next 20 years sold it to Michael Kirk of Newark, who started to restore the car with a new chassis. Michael Kirk then sold the uncompleted project to David Baldock in 1998 who passed it on to me at the end of 2002 having done nothing to it. My intention is to restore it to racing spec. as I believe she has some early history of racing. I am presuming she was a competition car because at some point in the lost (first) thirteen years she has had twin fuel fillers, which were preceded or followed by one very large fuel filler mid mounted at the rear.
