Michael Logan's Grantura - 8573

It’s a ’63 originally bought new in the
USA (Connecticut) by my father. He used it as his primary means of
transportation for about 5-6 years, and also used it to tow their Formula Vee race
car. The car sat idle in his former racing partner’s shop for almost 15
years before my father gave it to me in late 2001. I have since moved the
car to California. It is in good road condition, and just needs the fuel
pump replaced before I will use it recreationally here. To my knowledge,
everything in the car, except for some new components of the exhaust system, is
original. I have attached a few photos for you as well.
Unfortunately my father did not pass on his
knowledge of cars/engines, so at 34 I am learning all this for the first
time. If you have knowledge of an Operational or Workshop Manual for the
Grantura, I would be grateful. Any other feedback, questions, or
information you have are very welcome! Also, I have read that several cars
were produced with the MKII body on a MKIII chassis – I am unsure if this is my
situation, but I believe there is paperwork somewhere that states the model as
a MK II/III. Can you let me know how to verify this information?
