I bought the car in the UK from MarkusTanner of Classic Car Connection in Switzerland. I
had been informed by Markus Tanner, that the car was raced with a Shorrock blower. That may have been, or not. With the
information I got at the Classic Motor Show, a blower should show in the
chassis number, it therefore would obviously have been fitted later on.
What amazes me is the gauge of the GRP body, around the o/s rear arch (whereit's holed) not much more than 1/16". Is this the
common spec's or had there
been some kind of lightweight bodies?
Now I'm happy to see the car on your highly appreciated website and of
course I'm always interested in getting some information about the cars history
and spec's.
I hope to find the time to restore the car (or get it restored) in not too far
a future and I'm keen to get it running as long as I still can get in
(and out!), I'm 62 soon.
