I`ve bought my Grantura MK2 at 1994 in Aachen Germany, in very bad conditions. The framework was almost completely rusty and damaged. The body was torn and broken everywhere. Assembled was a wrong 120E Ford Motor and a 105E Ford gearbox. Now is a 1588ccm MGA engine and gearbox built. The vehicle is on page 185 in the book "Success Against The Odds" in front of the TVR company displayed. The registrations mark was YFR 723. In this time was Warren Smith the owner. Overall, the Grantura has 12 registered owner. Trevor Wilkinson is registered also as first owner in the vehicle registration. He took the car at 5.6.1962 with him, when he left his company. He sold the car at 4.8.1969 to a Alan Bamber. The frame number is 7E111. This is not a joke, I still have the first vehicle registrations documents. The E in the identification number stands for experimental.
