Believed to be one of only four
Competition "Lightweight" cars factory built during 1960.

would suggest the car was originally supplied with a 1216cc
"Climax" motor but it would appear an MGA 1588cc engine with HRG cross
flow cylinder head with twin Weber Carburettors was
installed quite early in the car’s racing career.
Extensive competition history from new
until the car retired from racing in 1971.
It has been dry stored and virtually
untouched since.
The speedometer reading of 3,150 miles (
three thousand, one hundred and fifty ) is believed to be correct and old MOT
certificates help confirm accuracy.
