THIS IS THE FIRST DOCUMENTED TVR CHASSIS TO BE BUILT AND LATER RECEIVED BY SAIDEL SPORTS RACING CARS. IT WAS THUS THE FIRST MK II JOMAR TO BE MADE. THE CHASSIS WAS ORIGINALLY ORDERED 0N DECEMBER 30TH 1955. IT WAS THE CHASSIS TO HAVE MAGNESIUM BRAKE DRUMS WITH BOLT ON RIM (5 LUG). THE ENGINE WAS A STAGE I COVENTRY CLIMAX 75 HP. IT TOOK 5 MONTHS FOR THE CHASSIS TO BE BUILT WITH COMPLETION ON MAY 4TH 1956. IT WAS SHIPPED VIA THE SS NOVA SCOTIA ON MAY 13TH AND RECIVED AT MSG ON JUNE 13TH 1956. THE CAR WAS FITTED WITH A HAND HAMMERED ALUMINUM BODY AT MERRIMACK STREET GARAGE BY AUGUST 8, 1956 AND WAS PAINTED BLUE. IT WAS RACED BY TEAM JOMAR UNTIL JULY 7 1957, WHEN IT WAS THEN LOANED TO RAY HEPPENSTAHL FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPOSURE, AND HOPEFULLY, LATER SALES. THE CAR WAS WRECKED BY HEPPENSTAHL AT VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY ON AUGUST 5TH 1957 (7 DAYS LATER).  STG I MOTOR USED FOR CLIMAX COUPE TEAM CAR,( 7C107 NOW OWNED BY IAN RAINFORD)

CRASHED AT VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY, remnants, frame, suspension, brakes upstairs at Merrimack St Garage. Body panels given to Boyd to finish his Jomar (1959).
