I purchased it in 1999 and completed the restoration
in 2007, the previous owner had owned the car for 23 years and never had it running.
During the restoration I discovered that the rear end and bonnet had been
replaced with a second hand section from a later vixen s2. I made the decision
complete the car as an 1800s but keeping the later vixen bonnet. I have a
registration date of may 1967 but the only chassis number I have is the one on
the old style log book which is 209 I don't know how this falls in line with
factory build numbers
