Ex registered NPE 15D, the car has an
interesting history as it was the car road tested in most magazines in 1966.
That was the demo car of the dealer "barnett" and was driven at that
first era of its life by Gerry Marshall. It seems the car has been regularly
used untill the 80's and then has been stored about 15 years before to arrive
in Steve Reid's hands. The car has been bought by a Belgian, who after a few
years still was doing nothing of it, I bought it from him in 1998. I made
quickly everything to get it driveable, a full engine rebuild, and brakes and
suspension change. The chassis is still original, but will "some day"
certainly need a
change as it obviously start to show some sign of weakness. Except the bonnet
wich is from a vixen, I can say the rest of the car
is still full original, I plan to get back to an original bonnet when big
chassis work will be absolutly needed.
