Me and Ch. Go Like Elijah at the BAHC in 2004

A brief introduction about my involvement in Afghan Hounds...

When I was a young girl I saw a picture of an Afghan Hound on the cover of a magazine and fell in love with this breed. It was in 1980 that the first Afghan Hound came into my family, found by an advertisement in the paper. Her name was Elphilay von Siwina.

It was because of her breeder that I got involved in dog shows and in 1983 my second Afghan El Minja's Midnight Sun joined the family.

She would become the foundation of Serra Parecis when I decided to breed her to Boxadan Xercise Makes Master in 1989.This breeding was the start of a succesful but limited breeding that has given us lots of pleasure and fun in the rings on to today and hopefully in the future as well.
