Valetta the capital city of Malta is dominated by the modern dome of the Carmelite church. The straight streets of Valetta indicate the Renaissance inspiration behind its planning.

The panoramic views at Upper Barracca Gardens are not to be missed as is the very busy Sunday morning market at the busstation of Valetta.
