7B513 Grantura, a
late-build 1962 MKIIA , as noted by its MKIII bonnet, has just been completely re-done
in September 0f 2009 by PAUL EDDY with a frame and body restoration inside and
out including re-fiber glassing, dual burnished aluminum rear screen holding
braces, race-tuned MG engine with 3/4 race cam with dual SU carbs, Pertronix electronic ignition,
complete front-to-back re-wiring, dual exterior chrome headlamp screens, NOS
Lucas switches, new wheel bearings and spindles, brake system, restored
foot box with new master cylinders, restored cooling system with additional oil
cooler, new fuel cell with vented filler system, new leather interior,
fire suppression, new exterior red re-spray, roll bar with 4-point racing
harness, rear deck race-mounted interior spare wire wheel with period
“dog-bone” hold-down, period racing roundel’s, leather bonnet hold-down straps.
The car
is eligible for European and American vintage events including VSCCA.
