Guild X-500

After more than a year of searching websites I found this guitar in Belgium. The X-500 has a laminated spruce top, back and sides with a 17" body. The model was quite close to the Epiphone Zephyr De Luxe Regent since some of the Guild luthiers came over from Epiphone. I like the X-500 very much, it has great playability and a great jazz-tone with an open sound. I play it over my old Roland Cube 60 Chorus. The shorter scale length of 24 3/4" adds to the playability when strung with a .011 set because of the lower string tension at that scale.
