Cause and effect or Karma

Cause and effect is Karma. The root of the word Karma comes from the Sanskrit language Kri to act. Karma is a natural Law, a Law of the Universe, when there is a cause an effect will take place. Just like night follows day, or ebb follows flow, so does the effect follow the cause. This law originates from the unknown, Absolute heart of the Universe. Everything in the Universe originates from the unknown heart of the Universe. The whole of the future is an unbroken continuity with the present, just as the present is with the past. This law of Karma or justice is unchangeable, eternal and infinite.

Cause and effect or Karma is the absolute justice of the Universe and everything that’s in it. Absolute justice directs the activities of all the forces which make up the life of the universe. Therefore for us human beings, no one is suffering for the sins of another. No one is in a place which he has not earned for himself. No one deserves more than he has and no one should be happy, who is not. Human Laws change with their civilizations. Everything that was held as right at one time will be held wrong at another. In the drama of history we find that humans have been persecuted due to the false interpretations of Natures Laws. The policies that dominate one generation become the tyrannies of the next generation. Laws that were made to correct certain faults have become, in turn, causes of other faults. This is all because we have not become aware of the fact that the universe is honest.

Life as such is a great mystery. To solve this mystery we have to study all its aspects, visible and hidden. Truth can only be found through the study of life in all its aspects. The study of the natural laws of Karma and rebirth, gives us a better understanding of life. Our present experience of life is that it never stops, day in and day out, we are awake or asleep. Our periods of being awake are exchanged for periods of rest or sleep. Birth is exchanged for death, but Life carries on. Life is continuous motion and everything is alive.

For us humans, the universe and Life are a beautiful gift. We take up forms at birth as babies, grow mature and grow old. Then we leave the form behind, to rest after we have gained experience from being alive. What is the purpose of life, this taking up of form and gaining experience? The purpose is to experience life in all its aspects and then to learn, by the right use of this gift, to live conscious lives in our true essence, without form. The accomplishment of this goal takes many rebirths in various forms and Karma helps and guides our way. This gift of life which in its true form is Love and compassion, never ends, for it has no beginning and is without end. There are only periods of being awake exchanged for periods of rest.

We can rest assured that Life is run by true justice. Compassion and Love are the Law of Laws. Human beings are their own Karma because it is a moral Law. It gives us hope, and through this we learn responsibility. The direction of our lives are in our own hands. Our thinking and conduct are the seeds of our future.
