A cold period, but still a lot of nice finds

Last few weeks it was cold in Holland and the ground was frozen so no detecting for most of the time. Still there were some times it was possible due to a good day or some digging by machines and we went out for five times ( about 16 hours total). We want back to some old spots we hunted out in the past monts. The first day was a great success, although it started very bad. We went to and building site with loads of medieval finds the month before. All sand in it. On the edges only some rotten coins so we went to the next place. Also there we only found rotten coins, so we had to decide what to do and we went to the next place. Also a place we went before. There we saw all the piles were transformed into one big pile. We started and tried for half an hour. I found one very nice jetton, but both my mates didn't find anything. On top of the pile I saw the area next to this place was freshly ploughed. It had been grass for all I could remember. We went there across the hedge and saw lot's of medieval pottery and started detecting immediately. I found two still unknown hammered silver coins and some billion medieval small coins in poor condition. Then I had no signal for some time and went to the other side off the field and had a strong signal. I started digging and saw three coins stuck to each other. One fell off immediately. All heavily corroded so there was nothing to see. At home I discovered it were 2 silver hammered and one billion from the 15th century. I dug some more around the spot, but no more coins there. Afterwards I also found an unknown pilgrim badge, a part of a weight, an interesting unknown find a large lead/pewter token and some buckles, thimbles, lead seals, buttons and cloth fasteners. So a very good new place for us.

Unknown pilgrim badge. There is a B on it. In Heilig en Profaan 2 a Dutch book about medieval badges there are some as well with the B. It suggests it is from Brugge (Bruges in Belgium). Only 10 miles from the finding spot, so that could be possible. 14th/15th century

The three coins which where stuck to each other. A 15th century silver groat and half groat and a billion coin. They are still in the cleaning process and all three seem to be in very good condition.

Bronze moving object, i don't know the English word. It is decorated on both ends with an animal head and in the middle with a cross

The next Monday i took a half free day from my work to return, but i didn't found much, only one coin, it was not old but in an excellent condition.

2,5 cent 1941 in an excellent condition, almost UNC.

The next weekend it was very cold again, and i passed, but the weekend after it was just possible. On some places the ground was too hard, but on some grass lands it was just possible to dig, so we went out again. We went back to the building site where we found much last months and tried again. We detected for some hours and I found some nice objects.
