Enjoy now researching your roots.
Below is one of the names I am researching:

Besuijen - Bezuijen

With all kind of different spellings of the name like:
Bezuijen, Besuyen, Bezuyen, van Bezuijen, Besuinen, etc.

I am also looking for information on two other families of The Netherlands, Janse and DeKam (de Kam), originally of Walcheren (a part of Zeeland).

On this site you will find an Indexof all sure names, now more than 8.000 persons.

The Besuijen family crest belongs to the descendants of Cornelis Simonszoon (Ten Suyden), who died in 1637. He married Maeyken Theus in 1616:

One of the descendants is Jacobus Besuijen, born and raised on Walcheren, 1810-1888, a small overview of Jacobus can be viewed here.

An entirely different Besuijen family (no family crest known), originally from North and South Holland can be viewed online: Cornelis Gerritszoon Besuijen, born in Zegveld circa 1700.

If you have genealogical interest in one of the persons mentioned in my index, please contact me. I want to share as much information as possible. If you have anything to ask, add, share or correct please contact me:
