The Chapel of St. Nicholas, Flushing

Flushing is a historic port on the West side of the Isle of Walcheren in the Province of Zeeland (The Netherlands). Nowadays, usually many ships can be seen on its anchorage, just East of Flushing Town, where there are also important ship repair and construction docks. It is there that the Chapel of St. Nicholas' stands, as part of the Mission to Seafarers Flying Angel Club. St. Nicholas' (after the patron saint of sailors) draws a small, faithful and warm congregation from all over the island - it seeks to serve seafarers and English speaking people.
